To My Healing Friends

Hold on to your seats. It's a bumpy ride! One that we all hope is nearing the turn in the bend. What is the life lesson that keeps asking you to realize you have to let go/redefine/begin from zero?

According to our work, it is all about trusting the Universe. We are all doing/doing/doing without BEING. And in the final step, if we don't "let go" and trust the Universe to deliver -- IT CAN'T!! It's like saying, "I dare you to find me" when you're hiding in a place where you can't be found. Or, to use an analogy close to my heart, it's like an actor getting opposite directions that they can't possibly carry out. So join me in claiming: I AM ENOUGH. I BELONG. I SURRENDER. I TRUST THE UNIVERSE. I KNOW.

Because it's all done. The work is done. The allowing is here. But we must trust to, well, allow the allowing!

And this can feel like death. Letting go of all our stories, all our blaming, all our victimness, all our limiting definitions of who we have been. So CHOOSE to do that NOW. Once the choice is made, it is miraculous how the fear dissipates. The power of this moment - when you choose consciously to live in DIVINE LOVE - creates every vibration from the past NEW, and creates the present and future according to your direction.

Celebrate yourself and LOVE YOURSELF unconditionally! I do!

To My Acting Friends

I have to mix it up a little this month. I simply have to bring in some of the healing work to share a huge acting message.

I was scheduled to do a wonderful cameo in the new Harrison Ford/Brendan Fraiser picture. It had a beautiful arc and some nice emotional touches. I was stoked.

The night before I was to leave, I got the rewrites. They had cut the part to two lines. I went in to the reaction from hell, called my reps, and hoped I could save myself the humiliation of 2 lines after 35 years in the business.

I didn't. I decided to go. And here is why. After doing our work with my healing partners, I realized the great lesson that was being given to me: A person is not defined by what they do!
Now I knew this intellectually. I knew this about everyone else. You have heard me speak about how the very existence of my brother and daughter on this plane makes my life worthwhile. But I didn't "know" it about ME in the context of the world: that my essence here is what is valuable, not what I "do."

After we balanced all the energy around that, I realize that I have been holding on to my very big house because it was a definition of me being "ok" and "safe." Do I have to sell? No. Could I sell now and live a fuller life without all the overhead? Yes.

But the basic energy shift is this: when you define your work, instead of thinking it defines you, I guarantee things will begin to open up. Let go of the pressure. LET GO. Be the star before the gig. The Universe must respond. I suggest you read the healing blog also. They coincide.

To My Healing Friends

We are on the fast track and can't get off! And it's all good...

First of all, give up your resistance and expand into the bigger you that you've been asking for. I'm going to share a huge belief we uncovered that most spiritual people share: We have to remain small to SERVE. We have to remain small to BE served by Source.

If you go back to most of our religious training, you will see where those ideas spread like a virus and infected us with the sickness of remaining small, i.e. not manifesting what we have been trying to manifest. After all, if we had everything, our souls might be tainted (as in the filthy rich), and why would we need a connection with Source then, anyway?

The answer is simple: We are Source as the representation of "us." When we disconnect from Source, we disconnect from ourselves. If that is true, then our direction of the I AM has been limited. We have simply disconnected from our own consciousness!

Love yourself enough to be as wealthy, healthy, loved and loving as you can be. BE THE DEMONSTRATION that spiritually powerful people ARE - creators based in love. As Nelson Mandella said..."Who are you to keep yourself small?" Give others the right to expand into greatness by being the example of joy, love and success. I suggest you read the acting blog also. They coincide.

To My Acting Friends

Well, the energy has been very busy out here! While finishing my second book, I participated in four different films and booked a wonderful cameo in the next Harrison Ford/Brendan Frasier film, "Crowley." I have several jobs "pending," but I can't share with you yet, because the paperwork isn't complete. I can say that it looks like I Scream Man will be going this summer - finally! And it also looks like I will move into my first directing assignment which I am extremely excited about. More on that in my next update! The biggest gifts I can give you regarding your own acting are these: Breathe and Know. Before you go into an audition, put your script down, close your eyes, and take some deep breaths. This opens up your channel to higher information, and allows your subconscious to supply the lines. It is a simple, amazing tool that will empower you. The second is to give yourself the direction that "I Know." You are pure energy which Knows everything, and the more information and surety you will receive. When you walk into an audition "Knowing," they can't help but be put at ease, and then they can "Know" with you that you can do the part.

Greetins Friends!

The Universe has created life in an interesting way this month. It hasn't created much acting - because it opened up time to work with my fabulous editor on my second book. We are almost ready to send the first four chapters to the agent! This book has been so much easier and more joyful to write. For those who read Conscious Creation (thank you!) this next book is more of an autobiographical journey through my career and how it expanded and defined my spirituality. Sometimes funny sometimes irreverent, it's a great read!

I am shooting a cameo with Rosanna Arquette in a beautiful film entitled "Exodus Fall" in December and then traveling to spend ten days with my family for the holidays. Next year is lining up to be exciting and productive. Already on the books is "Brotherly Love" with Peter Coyote.

I want to take this opportunity to wish you the happiest of holidays. Choose to write your own script this year -- of joy, creative expression, passion, love and abundance.

Choose to define your life in a new way without the old "scripts." Let's write a new one that will be the Amazing Film of My New Story." It's guaranteed to be a blockbuster!

To My Acting Friends

It has been a ride! If you ever think the business gets easier the longer you're in it - think again! It always tests you, keeps you growing, keeps you questioning yourself.

I left my very big, heavyweight agency to go with an agent I had become friends with and whom I really trusted. Within weeks he left to become a manager, leaving me a relatively free agent. Not a great scenario.

Instead of going into the unfairness and becoming the victim, I chose to accept this as a perfect unfolding of what I had been directing my career to be: Film. I realized I kept SAYING I wanted to be a major film actress (again) while I was holding the beliefs it "probably wasn't going to happen." I was doing the very subconscious sabotage I know so well how to get others out of!

So, of course, I kept getting those sentiments mirrored back to me. When I realized it, I claimed it to all my reps. Well, when you come forward like that, the Universe has to deliver. Even if you have to go through what appears to be a mess to get to the right place.

I just signed with Amsel, Eisenstadt and Frazier - a very well respected, older firm whom I've known since my arrival in L.A. But ultimately, I know it is about me and my knowing (see healing blog for more info!).

In the meantime, I am promoting my book, Conscious Creation (available on Amazon.com), my Criminal Minds episode is on November 12th on CBS. I am in negotiations for a move I love, and anxiously awaiting my favorite time - Christmas.

Just remember, your working in the biz is mostly about you. Take your creative, passionate joy into everything you do. Connect ALL the WAY. The Universe - and the business - has to respond!

Wow! If you ever wanted to know how my healing work helps crate my career, these past two months is proof positive!

I have had the time of my life playing several delicious parts in five different projects in two months, worked with some amazingly talented people and traveled to beautiful places. I've made money and practiced my craft -- and all during a time when strikes and the economy seem to "keep a lot of people not working." Very blessed, indeed.

My new agency, Venture IAB, is getting me "out" more than ever on roles that I am really right for. Everything is simply -- great.

I am tremendously busy in October at Sci-Fi conventions. So, please check the listing of appearances on the acting page. For those of you in LA, I am planning on being at the Pasadena show in October.

As far as insights into acting -- 1. don't judge -- people or material. You stop the flow of energy and consciousness available to you. 2. HAVE FUN! If you have fun, it permeates the room. And then they have fun watching you. 3. Breathe. Deep breaths before you audition help ground you and again, open the channel. 4. Finally, tell your ego to take a walk. It will want to control everything. Control and creativity are opposite energy.

Lots of exciting things in the works, but can't share them yet! Hopefully, next time I will have some GREAT news to share.
